Nils Olav Gjørvad
- What do you work with at RECAB?
- I’m a senior Key Account Manager, working in the areas of embedded systems, military-, marine- and offshore customers. There is also time to do some hands-on work, on some of the latest and greatest embedded hardware available in the market
- Why do you work for RECAB?
- With a huge personal interest in computers and embedded systems, there couldn’t be a better place to work than RECAB. In addition, the great Team Play that is in the RECAB organization, I’m really happy to be a part of this team.
- I started working for RECAB because..
- After meeting Bjørn Espen at Hamar the first time, and then meeting most of the team in Sweden, it wasn’t hard to decide that this was something I would like to join.
- Do you enjoy your working environment?
- Recab has a highly skilled and motivated team across the Nordic Countries. (Sweden, Denmark and Norway) We share our expertise across the countries, so no one is left alone. Just have a good look at some of the products we have made, and you’ll find that this is coming out of a highly skilled and good Team.
- What do you do when you are not working?
- As a father of two, most of the spare time is used on following up the kids. Football practice during the summer period and ski tournaments during the winter season. Whatever time that is left, is usually spent on improving PC’s
- What is so special about RECAB ?
- The Team-Play, and the common spirit of growing the business.
Brian Axbøg
- What do you work with at RECAB?
- I work as “Embedded Solution Designer” at RECAB Denmark. My job consists of development, prototyping, documentation, quotation and selling COTS products and more – that is Custom-Off-The-Shelf. I’m part of the technical team to find solutions to make end products for our customers and solving their needs.
- Why do you work for RECAB?
- RECAB creates a perfect base for me with great colleagues with strong technical knowledge and incredible team spirit together with a world class collection of suppliers. Furthermore RECAB gives me a very flexible environment in terms of the latest technologies of Cloud computing, allowing me to work from everywhere in the world.
- I started working for RECAB because..
- They gave me the opportunity to work with all the technology I love: Embedded PC’s, hardware- and software development and must of all: being able to control the project from start to finish.
- Do you enjoy your working environment?
- We have a very relaxed atmosphere at the office which is not a thing that we all work hard on: It’s just the way it is and I really enjoy it.
- What do you do when you are not working?
- In my spare time I try to spend the few remaining hours together with my family – besides that, I always have a few projects on my own, like building a SQL based Powermeter to watch my power consumption in my house, playing guitar and music in general which is a big part of my life: especially music from the ’70. As member of Nikon Professional I also have a big interest in taking/making photos.
- What is so special about RECAB ?
- Two days are never the same and my role, at RECAB, gives me the opportunity to drive a process completely from start to finish – if I ever need help on either processes, I know that I have the best team in the world to support me – that’s what’s special about RECAB.
Susanne Bagger-Sørensen
- What do you work with at RECAB?
- I am a part of the Admin Team, working with Inside Sales and Control including logistics, customer and supplier dialog, sales assistance, technical support, local marketing activities and economic issues.
- Why do you work for RECAB?
- Because I like the positive company spirit, the focus on customer satisfaction and the high technical level.
- I started working for RECAB because..
- I have been in the business of electronic components for years, but wanted to work with more advanced systems of high standard. RECAB could offer this as well as true team play and focus on constant improvement and development.
- Do you enjoy your working environment?
- Definitely!
- Why do you do when you are not working?
- I train obedience with my dog, work in the garden, enjoy nature, listen to music and go to concerts.
- What is so special about RECAB ?
- The great team spirit! At RECAB Team Play is a feeling, not just a saying.
