Founded in 1996, RECAB is a rapidly growing company, with sales of approximately 80 MSEK during the latest Fiscal year ending in in June 2012.

RECAB have a team of 20 people in sales, logistics, support, integration, and admin.
We have offices in Sweden (Skarpnäck/Stockholm), Norway (Hamar and Olso) and Denmark (Copenhagen).

RECAB is a privately owned company.

Mads Poulsen, CEO

Mads Poulsen is CEO at RECAB. He has over 20 years of experience in the embedded industry in various positions. He started his career in Motorola Computer Group (now Emerson) as Sales Engineer and worked for some years in Denmark in both Motorola and danelec. He moved to Sweden to take over the management of MCG in the Nordic Countries. He is also the founder of Data Respons Sweden and has worked as Managing Director for Data Respons Sweden and Data Respons Germany, before taking over the role as CEO of RECAB in the Nordic Countries. He has an Engineering Degree in Production, Electronics and Management from Copenhagen University College as well as a GCE degree in Economics from Copenhagen Business Academy.

Brian Sörensen, Country Manager Denmark

Brian Ulskov Sørensen has more than 25 years of experience in engineering, sales and management in the “professional electronics’” industry. Background Electronic Engineering degree. Brian joined Norwegian based Data Respons in 1993, where he held numerous jobs within Sales and Management, until he in 1999 founded Data Respons A/S in Denmark. Grew the business from nothing to >250 MDKK in 2008, when he co-founded the new RECAB with primarily responsibility for the Danish branch build up activities.

Johan Nordin, CTO

Johan Nordin has more than 25 years experience of development, sales and management in the IT industry. Background: Engineering degree and a degree in Business Administration. Johan joined Ericsson in 1984 as an engineer, 1988 he joined Motorola Computer Group, where he held position as Strategic Key Account Manager for Ericsson and 1990 he joined Avnet as sales manager for embedded systems. In 1996 Johan became co-founder and CEO of RECAB. He is today RECAB’s CTO responsible for the strategic technology roadmap in this fast growing company. Johan is also chairman and founder of the Swedish Trading Association for Embedded Technology.

Michael Ullskog, Sales Director

Michael Ullskog has more than 20 years experience of sales and management in the IT industry. Background Engineering degree. Michael joined Motorola Computer Group in 1988, where he held numerous jobs within Sales and management until he in year 2000 became co-founder of Data Respons AB, responsible for sales. Grew the business from nothing to 200 MSEK in 2008, when he co-founded the new RECAB to head up sales and build up a fast growing profitable company.

Dan Sundell, Director Operations

After a University degree in electronics Dan Sundell was a hardware design engineer, then moved more into software development. Some 20 years ago he started with embedded systems, mainly VME at that time. Dan has been working with numerous RTOS and processor architectures over time. Dan was one of the original founders of RECAB back in 1996.

Bjørn Espen Aase, Country Manager Norway

Bjørn Espen Aase has been in the Embedded Systems industry since 1994. Background Engineering and Business Administration degree. Bjørn Espen joined Data Respons in 1994 where he held several jobs within Sales and management. As a Strategic Account Manager he grew the business to ~100MNOK in 2006, and in his last position he managed a business unit for Certified Computers to the maritime and naval industry. Acting also as the international Sales Manager his team signed up several contracts with key players in Europe and USA.

Magnus Gidlund, Director Marketing

Magnus Gidlund has more than 15 years of sales experience within telecommunication and IT industry. Magnus has during this time several years of experience from Major Account Management from companies like Acterna, Polystar and Data Respons and Building Accounts worth up to 6.5 meuro. Magnus is one the co-founders of the new RECAB.
