RECAB receives defence orders for 670 k€

Compact PCI, Advanced TCA, Micro TCA, AMC, PMC, COM modules, Systems and Boards, Compact PCI ( cPCI ), VME / VXS / VPX, Servers, Industrial Servers - RECAB - ATR RECAB has received two orders with a total order value of 670 000 Euros from a Scandinavian customer in the defence sector. The equipment will be used in airplanes.
RECAB are to develop and deliver COTS Custom Off The Shelftm systems designed to meet harsh environmental conditions in regard to temperature, shock, vibration, and EMC.
A key to winning these orders, was RECAB’s COTS Custom Off The Shelftm concept. This concept reduces lead time and technical risks by reusing proven commercial off the shelf building blocks, and customising these to meet the unique requirements.

Part of the contract is also an option for further significant revenues.
Deliveries of both orders will occur within the next 6 months.

RECAB RECEIVES CONTRACTS OF 700 KEURO

RECAB has received two orders with a total order value exceeding 700 000 Euros from two customers in the offshore, and transportation sectors. Both orders include advanced computer equipment for demanding environments that will be delivered during the first half of 2013. RECAB will deliver COTS Custom Of The ShelfTM computer systems. The offshore solution is based on customized hardware combined with off the shelf products from RECAB’s Supplier Partners. The solution is built to withstand the demanding ocean environment that includes humidity, temperature, shock and vibration. The contract is a follow-up order to a prestudy performed by RECAB’s engineering department.

The transportation order consists of servers that are customized, integrated and tested, to provide long life performance in an industrial environment. This is a result of true Team Play between the customer, RECAB, and it’s supplier partners. These servers support 24 hour non-stop operation 365 days/year without the need for maintenance. RECAB delivers the servers with all the customers application software installed and tested.

RECAB today announced the yearly financial statements of the Group 2011/2012 with revenue growth and strong profit growth.

The fiscal year 2011-12 was yet another succesfull year for the entire RECAB Group, with a revenue growth on appr 15% to 80M SEK and a growth of the Operating Profit with 66%, resulting in 11% profit equal to 8,4M SEK. Total assets represented 33M SEK.

RECAB will design, integrate and test the complete systems in it’s ISO9001 certified Integration Centre. Standard products from RECAB’s Key Partners are part of the solution and help to minimize lead-time and reduce development costs for the customer.
The technical solution is based on ruggedized industrial computer blades, communication switches and sensor I/O. The solution is characterized by product longevity, and built to operate with minimum service need.

RECAB get contracts for over 1.5 MEuro

RECAB has received two orders with a total order value exceeding 1.5 MEuro from two customers in the defense, and energy sectors. Both orders include advanced computer equipment for demanding environments.
The defense order consists of computer equipment for encrypted recording of video, radar and provider data. This equipment is mobile and designed for field use, where it withstand the most demanding conditions.
The energy order is from a global corporation, a world leader in its segment. Deliveries are made ??up of products that are characterized by high environmental resistance. They also cater requirements for long product life and long availability in the market.
